Summer storms are awful, but also beautiful. Seeing the raw power of nature is always an awe-inspiring experience. That being said, it’d be pretty horrifying to see the storm of the century rolling in over the horizon.

But that’s exactly what happened recently in this Belgian town, and what residents captured on film is completely terrifying.

It’s insane how quickly a nice summer day can turn into a nightmare. Still, you can’t help but appreciate the beauty in the situation…although that’s probably a bit easier to say while watching it on a computer screen.
