If you’re feeling the burn of summer’s heat, you might want to consider a trip to one of these amazing waterfalls that are perfect for a cool, refreshing dip, like the one pictured above. Here, Havasu Creek cascades over Rock Falls into an idyllic swimming hole on the Havasupai Indian Reservation in a remote area of the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Tinago Falls, which means “Hidden Falls” in Filipino, is nestled in a deep ravine, and trekking to the site requires climbing down 500 steps called the Winding Staircase, but your reward is a breathtaking place to swim. Not only that, but hidden under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the peaceful sound of the rushing water.

These hidden falls are located past a century-old mill off the Bruce Trail in Niagra. You’ll have to navigate a winding path that follows the river to get there, but once you arrive you can swim in the refreshing pool.

This waterfall isn’t cool – it’s actually a natural hot waterfall, fed from a small hot springs. The waterfall cascades over a mini Gibraltar-like rock formation into a cool, clear swimming pool, making it a perfect way to enjoy a steam and keep cool at the same time.
