Ireland is home to some of the world’s most idyllic scenes, including these beautiful must-see destinations like the one pictured above at Coumeenole Beach on the tip of the Dingle Peninsula at Slea Head. The entire peninsula is filled with picture-postcard scenery, including azure-hued waters that surround lush, emerald green hills and golden sands. The backdrop is made up of a range of mountains that form its spine, running from the Slieve Mish range to Mount Brandon, the country’s second highest peak.

Cliffs of Moher

One of the Emerald Isle’s most iconic, and most visited, natural attractions, the Cliffs of Moher soar more than 700 feet over the Atlantic, stretching from about the village of Doolin, for nearly five miles to Hags Head in County Clare at the southwestern edge of the Burren region.

Killarney National Park

Home to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Ireland, Torc Waterfall, the towering 60-foot falls plunge from the Torc Mountains via a river known as the Devil’s Punch Bowl. You’ll also find the country’s tallest mountain range, McGillycuddy’s Reeks and numerous glistening lakes, which cover nearly a quarter of the entire park.

Wicklow National Park

Wicklow National Park is home to numerous hiking trails and spectacular landscapes like Lough Tay.

Skellig Michael

You’ll have to take a rather rocky boat trip from Portmagee off the Kerry coast to get to Skellig Michael, but your reward is a craggy, windswept island with stone steps reaching to a cluster of beehive-shaped stone huts that date back to the sixth century.

Rock of Cashel

The Rock of Cashel is located in the picturesque countryside of County Tipperary in the town of Cashel. Set on an outcrop of limestone, the group of medieval buildings includes a 12th century round tower, Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral and 15th century castle as well as the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral.
