There is a tiny island with 825 unique species on it! Where is it?

Socotra is a small cluster of four island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Yemen. In this cluster of islands, the largest island is also called Socotra, and this island contains 825 species of plants that don’t exist anywhere else in the world! The explanation as to how this happened is actually very simple. Around 250 million years ago, whenever all major landmasses were joined, most life forms were able to roam freely from one region to another!

However, Socotra was already an island by itself at that point. This isolation from the other land masses meant that for the existing life forms on Scootra, the evolutionary process that would happen to these species wouldn’t spread anywhere else!
