Gordon Ramsay left one of his first jobs while as an aspiring chef because he was tired of 'the rages the bullying and violence' perpetrated by the head chef

Gordon Ramsay was a big chef before his television career, but his fame certainly increased once it started.

He became known as a harsh critic who would routinely make people feel terrible about themselves.

It’s ironic, then, that Ramsay once quit a cooking job because of the abuse of his superiors.

Perhaps it’s a case of paying it forward, but before Ramsay was making people feel bad, the same was being done to him. He had worked at Harvey’s in London for two years and ten months before deciding to move on.

Tired of "the rages and the bullying and violence," he came to the conclusion that the way to further advance his career was to study French cuisine.

Ramsay has cooled down a lot since the start of his television career, and even made someone cry in a good way on one of his shows. He says he has learned from his mistakes and called himself “a crazy psycho.”
