Ladies have a special touch when it comes to making a work environment fun, safe, and secure it seems. It's tough to find a male in a company's Human Resource department, but it's quite staggering to see what the real disparity is.
According to a study by HRxAnalysts, an analyst firm covering the world of human resources, they found that women now account for 69 percent of all HR professionals and 71 percent of HR managers. The HR positions and imagining a woman filling the role have become ubiquitous.
It wasn't always the case, however. In 1969 women held a mere 30 percent of federal government HR jobs. That didn't last long, though, since it more than doubled to 71 percent by 1988.
Some experts believe that the role plays to the strengths that females hold inherently. The main skill that most cite is the necessary ability to multitask and juggle different issues at a time. Since no day is ever the same and there's never a shortage of HR issues, they are kept busy in all directions. Women are cited with simply being better at tracking everything and getting it done right. A true right brain at work!
