Rapper Busta Rhymes went to high school with three other rap legends! Find out who his famous classmates were:

Busta Rhymes is a legendary rapper known for his ability to speed rap, but before Busta made his rapping debut he attended George Westinghouse Career and Technical High School in Downtown Brooklyn, New York.

George Westinghouse High School is a vocational school most recently famous for being the first high school to eliminate any team names that may be offensive to Native Americans. However, during the late 1980’s, Westinghouse High School had four students who would change the rap industry forever.

Rapper mega-stars Busta Rhymes, DMX, Jay Z, and The Notorious B.I.G. All attended Westinghouse High at the same time! Even with the untimely death of The Notorious B.I.G. In the 1990’s, all four of these rappers are stilled played on the radio and are still considered geniuses of their genre.

Jay Z is the most active of them all and is considered a mogul in several industries. The Notorious B.I.G. was a good friend of Jay Z’s and helped him get his name out to the public so he could eventually be signed by a record label. While watching some of The Notorious B.I.G.’s music videos, you can frequently see a young Jay Z bobbing his head in the background.
