Actors are normally nothing like the roles they play, but it can be very difficult for anyone to separate the two. That was the problem for Martha Stewart, so she had to end her brief relationship with Anthony Hopkins.
She revealed on the Howard Stern show back in 2006 that she "loved him, but he was...scary." No argument here, he did an amazing job becoming the cannibalistic psychopath.
Before inviting him up to Maine for a little getaway with her, Stewart re-watched the movie and couldn't get past it. She had to ask herself "Do you want someone eating your brain while you are sitting in your beautiful dining room in Maine?" Nope!
