Is homosexuality nature or nurture? According to scientist, key neurological differences develop as early as in the womb!

Research has recently revealed the similarities and differences in the development of hetero- and homosexual brains; sexual orientation appears to be developed early in the womb. A Swedish study of 90 people (men and women, homosexual and heterosexual) compared the sizes of the brain's hemispheres, and further went to study the amygdala, which plays a role in orienting and directing the brain in response to stimuli.

They found pronounced asymmetry in heterosexual males and homosexual females, and clear symmetry in heterosexual females and homosexual males. Regarding nerve connections, the heterosexual males and homosexual females had more connections in the right side of the brain, while the other group had more connections in the left side!

This is strong evidence that homosexuality isn’t a learned behaviour, but actually may start as early as the womb, and may also indicate that structural differences in the brain inform our sexual preferences!
